12-1, 6-1 and 4-1 tips: three Punchestown specialists running on Thursday 👊

Day 3 of the Punchestown Festival takes place on Thursday and there’s another exciting eight-race card to look forward to. Horses tend to have their favourite tracks which they’ll perform better at than they might do elsewhere. With this in mind, we’ve picked out three horses running at Punchestown on Thursday with excellent track records. These include one horse who is unbeaten in three starts at the Punchestown Festival. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

5.25 Punchestown

Klassical Dream (4-1, William Hill) has only lost once in four starts at Punchestown and his sole defeat came in a Grade 1 over two miles. His record at the Punchestown Festival is unblemished and he has won here no fewer than three times. This includes the last two renewals of this race and he’ll be looking to complete the hat-trick. There must be something about the place that brings out another level in him and he should make another bold bid.

6.00 Punchestown

Grozni (12-1, William Hill) has a 100 per cent record here at Punchestown, winning his sole start at the track. Charles Byrnes is a shrewd trainer who excels at preparing horses for specific targets. If this race is a major target, he’ll be primed and ready for the task. Phillip Byrnes takes the ride and his 5lb claim will help to lighten his burden. He’s a three-time winner already this season and a big run could be on the cards.

6.35 Punchestown

Dysart Dynamo (6-1, bet365) is a bit of an enigma and you never really know what you’re going to get from him. One thing is for sure, he’s an extremely talented individual. Despite the fact that he can be his own worst enemy at times, he’s a two-time winner in just three starts at Punchestown. This includes a bumper and a Grade 2 novice hurdle. He looked good on chase debut at Leopardstown over Christmas and a return to that level of form would see him go close.
