1.08pm Henlow Race Preview 12/02/2018

Greyhound Racing Tips - Crayford

A trip to Henlow at lunchtime for Hyde, as he gets to have a third bite of the cherry at an owners bonus series competition. He was a little unlucky not to get his head in front and claim the £1,000 pot last time out in the A6 final, he takes on A5 company this afternoon. Our greyhound tips will be live on site before 6.00pm tonight from a decent open class at Nottingham.

1.08pm Henlow 12/02/2018 A5 Grade

Droopys Hyde – Produced a huge run last time in the A6 Final to only go down by three-quarters of a length. He had produced his best run at this track so far in the heats of that competition with a 28.00. A repeat of that from his favourite box would see him qualify for this final.

Sonic Safari – A perfect 1/1 in this grade, bolting up by almost six lengths. He has bundles of early pace and with Hyde being such an inconsistent starter, he should lead up into the turn. Hard to see him not qualifying from that position.

Savana Harrison – Tends to struggle when he gets this high on the graded ladder in the past but stays this trip well. Produced some flashy times last summer when he turned handy on the pace so should be in the mix for a qualifying spot.

Blackrose Adel – Graded in here in A9 in November, she has taken to this track really well. She ran her best race yet when stepped up to this grade last time and would’ve gone under 28 seconds if not for a stumble. Should be thereabouts at the finish.

Road Show – An odds on scorer in A6 last time out, the switch to the orange jacket doesn’t look suitable for him. Has the odd flash of early and despite his unexposed profile, he needs plenty more if he is to make the places here.

Silverview Tom – Only A8 when last at the track (that’s A6 now) not getting home over the stiff 480m trip at Central Park where he has been plying his trade most recently. He needs a massive step forward if he is to figure.

Conclusion

Hard to see the outside pair getting involved unless there is a lot of trouble, so this should be between the inside 4. Neither 3 nor 4 have a lot of early pace so hopefully Hyde will turn second to the 2 dog who should lead up and maintain the gallop to qualify for a third final. Both the 3 and 4 stay this trip well so whoever turns clean behind the leader should take the final qualifying spot.
