A very competitive contest, with the unexposed pair of Aurum and Mutaaqeb both with solid claims, though the latter does have to prove his stamina. Purser sets the known form standard on his course and distance conditions victory last month and he’s respected, but preference is for GREAT PROSPECTOR. He had some very useful form as a two-year-old, including placing a Group 2 level and some big runs elsewhere. He’s been a shade disappointing in two runs this season but he’s since been gelded and still remains unexposed at this distance. With conditions ideal, he can return to winning ways here.
