Trainer in form: Paddy Twomey

It won’t be long until Paddy Twomey becomes a household name, as his reputation grows with each passing season. Every single runner is planned meticulously and that strategy is paying dividends at the moment, with a strike-rate of 55 per cent in the last couple of weeks.

Alcantor is a proven performer at the top level and is set to make his first start for Joseph O’Brien in this Listed contest. The son of New Bay was only beaten by half-a-length when third in the Poule d’Essai des Poulains as a three-year-old and this Group 3 winner should have no trouble here.
