This is quite the conundrum to open the card, but it can be solved by Philip Hobbs’ SHOW ON THE ROAD, who quite simply ground his rivals into the floor at Exeter earlier this month. He relished a strong early pace to pounce on his rivals over the final two hurdles, winning by eleven lengths under a hands ride. A seven pound rise is far from harsh and with the race likely to be run to suit once again, he should prove tough to stop.
