Finished runner-up in a good newcomers hurdle at Compiegne in March and has since joined the Dan Skelton yard. Headgear combination applied for British debut and the market vibes have been strong.
Won over fences twice last term, including when bolting up at Carlisle in April, and looked in need of the run at Kelso on return last month. Should strip fitter now.
Will have to be smart to beat No Drama This End but this point scorer and won one of his two bumpers last season and had plenty in hand when winning a 2m4f novice on soft at Carlisle hurdle bow last month. He looks a good prospect.
Hit the frame in the 2024 Triumph Hurdle and was far from disgraced behind the exciting Lulamba on return/chase bow last month. This looks easier and the step up in trip could suit.
Fitness needs to be taken on trust after a break but won twice over fences last season and was third over this C&D. Did well to finish sixth in the National Hunt Challenge Cup at the Cheltenham Festival when last seen in March and will be interesting to see if the money comes on stable debut.
Decent yardstick on the Flat and although pulled up in 2m2f Fontwell handicap on his return last month, he found only one too good on his last three runs of last term and is in the mix judged on those efforts.
Three-time bumper winner and dual hurdles winner who enjoys soft ground. Only two runs for the Skeltons thus far, a good third at Cheltenham in October before a poor display when sent off favourite at the same venue on latest. Capable of better.
A winner of four of his five career starts, including an easy Grade 1 victory at Punchestown last season. Returned with a dominant display at Exeter on chase debut and is an exciting prospect for the season ahead.
Stable in red-hot form. Dual course and distance winner, winning the Imperial Cup in March 2024 off 129 and won the same race again last season off 127. Beaten out of sight at Bangor on return over a trip too far but this would have been the plan.
Grade 1-winning hurdler who has won four Grade 1s over fences, including the Celebration Chase over this course and distance back in April. Looked as good as ever on return at Clonmel last month and could take some beating.
Career-high mark but ran okay for a long way on return off this rating at Cheltenham on return and was very progressive over fences last season, including when beaten a length in the Midlands Grand National. Big player.

Sandown Park, located in the outer suburbs of London in Esher, is one of the UK’s most high profile courses as it has top class racing from both the flat and jump scenes. First opened in 1875, it was the first course in the country to have a members’ enclosure and also one of the first to charge all for attending. Our Sandown tips, like all our racing selections, are posted in the evening the day before the meeting, with all tips for the following day up by 7pm, or 9pm if there is evening racing.
In the last five seasons, Richard Hannon and Ryan Moore have dominated the Surrey venue in terms of winners. You can find the key statistics for Sandown above!
The flat track is of galloping nature and has a 4 furlong run-in that is uphill, meaning we need our tips to fully stay the distance in order to win. There is also a separate 5 furlong track in the centre which is uphill all the way.
Generally, on the five-furlong track, it’s better to be drawn low as being able to bag the rail can be an advantage at Sandown, even more so on softer ground. Over seven furlongs it’s also better to be drawn low, as there is a bend close to the start, which is advantageous to be close to as to not concede ground.
On the flat the Coral-Eclipse is the big race of the year in July, a Group 1 over a mile and a quarter, won by some brilliant horses including Sea The Stars and Golden Horn.
Sandown also hosts five Grade 1’s over jumps each season, with the feature probably being the Tingle Creek Chase in December which is often seen as a trial towards the Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
