Tips for Huntingdon Races

Located in Cambridgeshire, Huntingdon is a National Hunt only racecourse. It is only 25 miles from Newmarket which is the base of many big flat trainers, so it’s not unusual to see them introducing horses to hurdles for the first time at the venue.

Course: The circuit is a mile and a half, very flat with wide, sweeping bends. Therefore it suits speedy horses for our tips.

Feature Races: The Grade 2 Peterborough Chase is the highlight of the season at Huntingdon. It is run over two and a half miles and often tracks some brilliant horses. Cheltenham Festival winners Edredon Bleu and Best Mate both won this race. We also have tips for the Sidney Banks Memorial Novices’ Hurdle which is sometimes used as a stepping stone to the big spring festivals.
