Wednesday was a good day for myracing followers with plenty of profit made across the day’s bets. Our nap was advised on Tuesday night at 9-2 and was well supported on the day, obliging at 18-5. The day’s Lucky 15 also showed a profit with with two winners out of four. Those successes were eclipsed by the 20-1 accumulator which capped off a fantastic day. We’ve included Friday’s acca in case any readers are interested in our attempts to follow on from Wednesday’s success. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing. Bayside Boy obliged in the 3.35 at Sandown to get the accumulator started. Our tipsters predicted that the step down in grade would provide the requisite conditions for the colt to return to the winners’ enclosure and he didn’t disappoint. Roger Varian’s colt took a keen hold and doesn’t look like the easiest of rides as he carried his head awkwardly two furlongs out but still managed to win cosily.
Raecius Felix won the 4.45 at Kelso for Rebecca Menzies and the unstoppable Brian Hughes. The eight-year-old gelding put in a brave performance as he made the running and got headed after the second last. In a huge display of grit and determination, he got back up to score by a length-and-a-half. Having won of higher marks in the past, our tipsters believed winning here would be no problem and so it proved.
Gold Des Bois scored in the 5.45 at Kelso to continue win his first race since moving to Ian Jardine’s yard. The gelding had slipped 13lb down the handicap during his time in Scotland and our tipsters spotted his return to form in a stronger race at Ayr when last seen. Despite racing freely, he made most of the running and still had enough left to score by two lengths.
