Ryan Moore is fairly selective of where he rides these days and it’s proving to be a fruitful strategy. Fresh from riding two winners and a second from just three rides at Leicester on Tuesday, he’s set for a further four rides at Doncaster on Thursday. We’ve combined them into a Lucky 15 which is worth following as winners are rarely far away when Ryan Moore is involved. Camille Pissarro has probably been a little disappointing if truth be told. Aidan O’Brien’s colt went off a pretty short price for the Coventry Stakes and looked a little one-paced and finished in mid-division. Below-par again in the Gimcrack Stakes, the drop in grade should make life easier this time around.
Ecstatic was visually impressive when scoring at Tipperary last month and the fourth was a nose away from getting off the mark next time. This impeccably bred filly faces a steep step up in grade here but she’s entitled to improve again and a big run could be on the cards.
Grateful was a winner over this trip in A Group 3 at Fairyhouse on her penultimate start and should be in the mix once again. She does have a tendency to get outpaced before keeping on at the one pace but does have the ability to come out on top here.
Fox Legacy could hardly have been more impressive when scoring at Salisbury last month. Always prominent, he took up the running with three furlongs to go and went further and further clear. It’s not often that a Flat horse wins a handicap by 12 lengths and there could be more to come, despite a 16lb rise.
