Jarrive De Mee managed to claim victory in the second of his two starts in Irish points. The second is now trained by Gavin Cromwell and has won twice over hurdles. He made his first start under rules in a maiden hurdle at Thurles back in November and won comfortably in the end.
Making all the running that day, Patrick Mullins did the steering and the 1/4 shot obliged with little fuss. It’s also worth noting that the runner-up went on to win her next start, providing some substance to the form. There is no value whatsoever in this price and there’s a very viable alternative amongst the field.
Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero’s runner has won his last two starts over hurdles and a rating of 123 suggests he’s far from a no-hoper. He was eased at the finish when scoring by four lengths on handicap debut at Doncaster last month and it would be dangerous to rule him out.
