Will we see the 2021 Champion Hurdle winner in action on Saturday?

Cheltenham International 2017

It is going to happen. Gary Moore has been desperate to run Goshen in Saturday’s Unibet International Hurdle at Cheltenham and he has been officially declared. The stable star will return to the scene of his unseating of Jamie Moore at the Cheltenham Festival in March. It will be difficult for Jamie to erase the nightmare of the Triumph Hurdle from his memory.

Goshen has not had an ideal preparation for the International Hurdle, that’s for sure. He was meant to run in the Elite Hurdle at Wincanton in early November but missed out. Then, the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle was the target but again he missed out. If they want to win a Champion Hurdle, they had better get their act together, and fast. He without doubt has a huge engine on him and if he gets back to his very best, he is a leading Champion Hurdle contender.

Goshen must have an outstanding chance in the International Hurdle if he is back to anywhere near his best. If you fancy him for the weekend, then why not take the brilliant odds of 14/1 with William Hill to win the weekend and go on to win the Champion Hurdle in March.
