Wednesday Irish raiders: three to follow including an O’Brien runner at Salisbury

There’s plenty of competitive action across Britain and Ireland on Wednesday, but there’s an added sense of interest after an Aidan O’Brien runner was declared to run at Salisbury, with Ryan Moore taking the ride. A further two Irish raiders take their chance at Ffos Las and we will take a look into their chances below. Remember, you can find all of our free horse racing tips on the website and our Nap of the Day has been in tremendous form with 33/1 and 11/1 winners in the last few days.

3.30 Salisbury

Aidan O’Brien sends his fourth career runner to Salisbury in the shape of The Parthenon to take his chance in the 1m Listed Stonehenge Stakes under Ryan Moore. It looks like a good opportunity for the son of Kingman, who was an eyecatcher when fifth in a Group 3 at the Curragh on debut before winning a Gowran Park maiden impressively when last seen. Who knows how good this lad is but he could be pretty decent.

6.05 Ffos Las

Kevin Coleman is no stranger to British shores and he sends Annie Edson Taylor across to Wales to take her chance in the 6f maiden for fillies. She has run well three times without winning in Ireland, and her second to Photosynthesis at Navan last October has worked out really well as that horse won a Lingfield handicap off a mark of 82 in March.

7.40 Ffos Las

Under the radar trainer Joe Conlon has done well this year with two winners from 14 runners in Ireland, and Our Dagger could be well treated in the mile handicap after an eyecatching run at Fairyhouse last time.
