‘We haven’t seen the best of her yet’ – 25/1, 18/1 and 18/1 Good Friday ITV Outsiders

Easter weekend gives all-weather racing a chance to shine and there’s some thoroughly competitive action to look forward to on Friday. Newcastle hosts the All-Weather Championships and that card is well supported by some good racing at Lingfield. There are 11 races scheduled to be televised on ITV so we’re back with more potentially overpriced outsiders who can outrun their odds. Take a look at our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

1.50 Newcastle

Eternal Solace (25/1, bet365) was an impressive winner on debut at Brighton last spring and she wasn’t disgraced when fifth in a Listed contest at York after that. She returned to winning ways in a novice event in October and finished second to the progressive Ten Carat Harry off a 1lb higher mark the following month. We haven’t seen the best of her in handicap company just yet.

3.00 Newcastle

Nikovo (18/1, Betfred) has produced some solid form so far this year and he returned to winning ways over 7f here last month. The handicapper has responded with a 2lb rise, which shouldn’t be too crippling, and four of his six career victories were achieved here at Newcastle. Jockey Jason Hart already has plenty of winners on the board this term and Michael Herrington’s seven-year-old can add to his tally.

4.42 Newcastle

Sax Appeal (18/1, bet365) can be a little hard to predict but returned to form with a solid third at Wolverhampton last time out. Charlie Johnston’s six-year-old was only beaten by half-a-length when second over two miles at Kempton in January and currently finds himself on a 2lb lower mark. He’s capable of running a big race here and has won over course and distance in the past.
