The weather is causing havoc at the moment and much of our National Hunt racing is under threat. There are a couple of interesting all-weather meetings which should keep us entertained on Tuesday. With this in mind, we’ve picked out four horses running at Lingfield and Wolverhampton that can outrun their substantial prices. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Expressionless (25-1, William Hill) achieved back-to-back wins in his first two handicap starts at Nottingham and Epsom in April. Dylan Cunha’s charge has struggled somewhat since but the handicapper is beginning to relent. His current mark is just 4lb higher than his last winning won and he should return to form sooner rather than later. One more attempt at 1m2f is in order and he could be one to watch back down to a mile if failing again here.
Mukha Magic (50-1, William Hill) has won 11 times during his career and a return to the winner’s enclosure is long overdue. Gay Kelleway’s seven-year-old has dropped to a very nice mark of 69, his lowest since July 2022. His last win came at Chelmsford off a 3lb higher mark and he was a narrow second off 5lb higher over course and distance in September. This horse should be winning again soon.
Indie Skies (20-1, William Hill) is very lightly raced and it would be unwise to give up on him just yet. Dennis Quinn’s gelding finished fourth over 6f on handicap debut at Chelmsford in October and that was a reasonable effort. He perhaps wasn’t suited by the step up in trip last time out and the return to 6f will help. Now down to a mark of 55, he can progress from here.
Nassau Bay (25-1, William Hill) is an interesting handicap debutant who shouldn’t be dismissed. There have been small signs of progress with each of her three runs so far and the switch to handicaps will definitely suit. She’s open to any amount of progress now handicapping.
