Adrian Wall has studied the Tuesday horse racing cards extensively. He is back with four tasty selections for Tuesday’s racing action. The Lucky 15 could be the way to go with these as we are guaranteed a return for just one winner. Fingers crossed we can get more than one up so here goes!
Bold Plan was once rated 140 over hurdles and won a big pot at Haydock in a handicap in 2019, landing a major punt in the process. Back over hurdles last few runs after a decent spell over fences and although all of his runs this season leave a lot to be desired, this is a Mickey Mouse race compared to what he has been running in and he can take advantage of a tumbling mark.
Storm Of Light looks like the only horse in the field with masses of scope for major improvement, beating Fine Casting at Uttoxeter who went on to win his next two starts so that form received a major boost. Looked like he would appreciate this step up in trip when third at Leicester last time.
Slate House hasn’t won since winning a Kempton Grade 1 over three miles in 2019 but he certainly bounced back to form when second to Killer Clown at Wincanton last month. The blinkers seemed to work on the day and they are retained so he should give another good account.
Sophosc was no match for Red Flyer at Kempton but it was still a cracking effort in defeat and instead of giving away lumps of weight on that occasion, he will receive lumps of weight here and ultimately that might prove to be the difference stepping up in trip.
