Hamilton has a stiff uphill finish which doesn’t necessarily suit all horses and Leicester has an undulating track which may unbalance some. With this in mind, we’ve found three runners across the two tracks on Monday with proven course records. All though there are never any guarantees, it’s always a good advantage to have. these three runners combine into a juicy 815-1 treble. You can check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Where’s Jeff (7-1, Paddy Power) is a three-time course winner who has only failed to finish in the first three here twice in 13 starts. Michael & David Easterby’s charge hasn’t been in the best of form recently but did win here over 1m3f in May, off just a 2lb lower mark. He has a solid record on good to soft ground also and a return to form may well be on the cards.
Temper Trap (15-2, Paddy Power) has won here no fewer than five times. The most recent of those came over this trip in August. He’s a five-time winner on soft and a six-timer winner on good ground, which suggests that the going here should be fine. 1m1f here suits him particularly well and he should run his race once again.
Clipsham Gold (11-1, Paddy Power) has only won twice on the turf and both of those wins came here at Leicester. She was just denied over course and distance off this mark in June and it would be no surprise to see her bang in the mix once again. The ground isn’t necessarily in her favour but she does have a strong affinity for this track.
