The most popular bet of the day at York could be this 25-1 Moore/O’Brien treble

Ryan Moore and Aidan O’Brien have had yet another fantastic year to date and that looks set to continue this week on the Knavesmire as they have some stellar chances, including Paddington on Wednesday who is going for his fifth Group 1 win. The duo team up with three big chances live on ITV Racing and the treble is bound to attract some attention. Sky Bet are offering 40-1 on Ryan Moore to have a winner at York this week which is some offer, and you can take it using the below banner.

2.25 York

If the form is the be believed, then Ballymount Boy is going to be hard to beat, but O’Brien might have something up his sleeve in the form of Edwardian. He was very green when second at Tipperary on debut in April but hit the line very strong when going one better at Naas over 5f on soft ground last month. He has to prove his effectiveness on good ground but the step up in trip will suit.

3.00 York

St Leger favourite Gregory could be a tough nut to pass and is proven on a fast surface, but O’Brien has the best chance of bringing him down in the form of Continuous. The Japanese bred runner ran well in the Dante and although he disappointed in the French Derby, his second to King of Steel at Royal Ascot is strong form.

3.35 York

Paddington is the myracing Nap of the Day and for good reason. He beat Emily Upjohn when taking on his elders for the first time in the Eclipse and then had to work very hard from thbefore a gutsy front-running victory in the mud in the Sussex, his fourth successive Group 1. Still better to come and the one to beat.
