Ascot, Haydock and Wincanton host the ITV action on Saturday and hopefully we’re going to get the full nine-race programme. It’s always worth taking note of course form as horses are all individuals and some perform better at certain tracks than others. With that in mind, we’ve selected four runners at Ascot with excellent track records and combined them into a juicy accumulator. Take a look at our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Etna Bianco (10/3, bet365) ran a nice race to finish third on hurdling debut at Cheltenham in October and improved to win here over a slightly longer trip next time. That gives Joe Tizzard’s gelding a 100 per cent course strike-rate and this race looks much easier than his latest task.
Thomas Mor (1/1, bet365) was a winner over hurdles here last term and managed to get off the mark over fences in a novice chase here in November. Taking a step forward in the Kauto Star at Kempton last time out, he ran a cracker to finish second behind Kitzbuhel and should be going close on that evidence.
Your Darling (9/1, bet365) has won two of his three starts at Ascot and he returned to form with a narrow defeat at Kempton last month. Currently rated just 2lb higher than his last winning mark, it would be no surprise if he was to come out on top here.
Jonbon (8/15, bet365) has never finished out of the first two and he’s unbeaten in three starts at Ascot. The longer trip is a huge positive, as he’s been crying out for it, and he should be too good for them here. Pic D’orhy is the biggest challenge but Nicky Henderson’s gelding is likely to have him covered.
