Thomas Mor (1/1, bet365) was a winner over hurdles here last term and managed to get off the mark over fences in a novice chase here in November. Taking a step forward in the Kauto Star at Kempton last time out, he ran a cracker to finish second behind Kitzbuhel and should be going close on that evidence.

The longer trip is a huge positive, as he’s been crying out for it, and he should be too good for them here. Pic D’orhy is the biggest challenge but Nicky Henderson’s gelding is likely to have him covered.
