Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of free horse racing tips and he has picked out two horses who should outrun their large odds on Sunday. He is in red hot form with 40-1, 20-1 and 14-1 winners last month and he is confident that he can find the winner’s enclosure again soon. Lochnaver was a solid third behind the reopposing Clan Jock when the pair met over course and distance 23 days ago. The Frankel filly has a 2lb pull in the weights with him and was beaten less than two lengths on the day so she should have every chance to reverse the form. Jim Goldie trains both runners so he will know the score more than anyone else, but Lochnaver is likely to be a much bigger price and looks worth an each way bet. The yard have had a tough week so they will be keen to get back on track.
Gary Moore has a great record around here and it would be no surprise to see Lake Washington find big improvement. He was staying on well enough over two miles when a remote third at Newton Abbot in July so the step up in trip should suit off a featherweight. Getting back to Moore’s record at Plumpton, in the last five years he has saddled 53 winners at the track from 359 runners which is a healthy 15 per cent return. After Fontwell, it is his second most successful track so it would be no surprise if we saw some money for this horse in the market.
