Sunday ITV Outsiders: three longshots at Punchestown and Exeter

Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Sunday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the weekend, and remember, always bet responsibly.

2.40 Punchestown

Silver King has been off the track 339 days but McKiernan is a dab hand at getting one ready and this lad might run a big race at a price. Sent off an 80/1 shot on debut, he ran a huge race when third behind Killer Mode at Naas last December. He has had his issues but is not a horse to be discounted on his return.

3.15 Punchestown

Nell’s Well is a very consistent mare who bolted up in a Grade 3 hurdle at Cork a year ago, so she does have a bit of class too. She has been off the track since she finished a creditable sixth at Fairyhouse at the end of last season, but she won fresh last term so fitness should not be one issue on her return to action. Mark Walsh is a very eyecatching booking too.

3.35 Exeter

The Gardener stable always do well here at Exeter and it would be no shock to see Bluffmeifyoucan run a huge race. 268 days off the track now, the gelding won a novice hurdle by 18 lengths over course and distance when last seen back in February. An opening handicap mark of just 114 could prove to be very lenient, and because there are some powerful yards involved here, this horse could be far too big a price to be ignored.
