Harry Skelton has been banging in the winners this season and at a very good strike-rate of 24 per cent. With five winners from 15 rides at Southwell so far this season, it’s clearly his happy hunting ground and he has several big chances there on Tuesday. We’ve combined his four strongest hopes into a Lucky 15 which could be worth following. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Theformismighty ran out an impressive winner of a maiden hurdle at Market Rasen in March. That was his first start since having wind surgery and it clearly had the desired effect. He appeared to need the run on chase and seasonal debut at Chepstow and a better performance is expected this time around.
Le Fauve remains a maiden over hurdles but the four-year-old was a nose away from winning at Bordeaux Le Bouscat for previous connections. He should improve for his seasonal debut, where he finished third at Chepstow, and this looks like a good opportunity to get off the mark.
Mr Hope Street has progressed nicely since switching to handicaps and was keeping on nicely at Carlisle recently. The six-year-old was only beaten half-a-length and he shaped as if the step up in trip would suit. Further improvement could be on the cards and the handicapper hasn’t caught up yet.
Skiffle Man has shown very little in three starts over hurdles so far but we can expect that to change now tackling handicaps. It’s fair to say that he hasn’t been given a hard time in his races thus far and an opening mark of 90 combined with a step up in trip should facilitate an improved effort.
