It has been a bumper weekend for ITV and we have another 11 races on the schedule for Sunday. Musselburgh and Leopardstown host the action and there’s lots to look forward to. Competitive racing means plenty of runners, which creates each-way betting opportunities.
We’ve taken full advantage and selected three contenders at bigger prices who may have been unfairly overlooked. Take a look at our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
O’Faolains Glory (14/1, Betfred) is absolutely flying at the moment so her price here is a little confusing. Susan Corbett’s mare has won her last two starts here at Musselburgh and was particularly impressive last time out. A good jump at the last sealed it and she kicked clear to score by five lengths. It’s hard to argue with a 5lb rise and a bold hat-trick bid is anticipated.
Blizzard Of Oz (20/1, Betfred) was second by a head in a decent novice handicap at Punchestown in May and battled well to take a Listed contest at Wexford in October. He looked like a non-stayer at Newbury and here over Christmas so the trip could be much more to his liking. The handicapper has dropped him a couple of pounds and that will only help his chances.
Red Risk (20/1, Betfred) is consistent when the handicapper gives him a chance and the 11-year-old was third in this race last year, albeit off a slightly lower mark. Paul Nicholls often targets this meeting and Freddie Keighley’s 7lb claim could make a substantial difference here. The veteran won off a 1lb lower mark at Uttoxeter in March and will improve plenty for his last run.
