‘She could be dangerously well-treated’ – three outsiders for Wednesday’s racing 🐎

Embour wins at Kempton under Martin Dwyer

The Cheltenham Festival might only be a week away but we still have plenty of racing to focus on between now and then. With four meetings on in Britain on Wednesday, Adrian Wall has picked out three horses at big prices who should outrun their large odds. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips, which can be found on the website from 6pm each evening.

3.15 Fontwell

This looks like a fairly open maiden hurdle but the Suzi Best runner has certainly taken my eye. Major Reward was given very considerate handling by Nick Scholfield when down the field on his first start for the yard at Plumpton in February. Twice a winner at Dundalk on the level in Ireland, he left the Denis Hogan stable and it would be no shock to see him put in a much improved effort. The market will tell the story but this son of Dawn Approach could run a big race.

6.00 Kempton

Sienna Bonnie is a very interesting one here in first-time blinkers for trainer Jonathan Portman. This trainer has a profit of £67.70 to £1 level stakes with horses running after a break so you can be rest assured she will be ready to go off the back of a 127-day absence. She has a good inside draw in three and hasn’t been disgraced in much better races than this in the past. She could be dangerously well-treated.

8.00 Kempton

Hollie Doyle has a nice book of rider but she could ride this likely outsider to victory for the Long stable. Magicinthemaking hasn’t the ideal draw coming from gate 11, but finished second over this course and distance in January from this mark. It will be interesting to see what Hollie does from the stalls but if they go a decent gallop, she can tuck in behind the leaders and pounce once they hit the cutaway.
