Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Saturday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the weekend, and remember, always bet responsibly.
With the Richard Fahey yard in good nick at present, it would be no surprise if Furzig (33-1) ran a big race in a competitive Queen Mother’s Cup. This dual good to firm winner won’t mind these conditions and he has finished second here twice in the past. He typically needs the run first time up each season which is the only worry, but if he is ready to roll he has an each way chance.
Snash (28-1) continues to ease in the weights for trainer Tim Easterby and might be ready to get his career back on track in this handicap. He won a handicap at Ayr on fast ground from a mark of 87 last summer and he is now 6lb lower in the weights. He couldn’t land a blow at Hamilton latest but he did plug on well at the death and this bigger field might suit him.
King’s Crown (40-1) hasn’t won since scoring in a maiden at Thirsk in May of last year, and he has been out of form since, but there is hope of a revival with Adrian Nicholls’ horses running well at present. He ran in a pair of Group 2s last term so was clearly highly thought of, and now running off a career low mark of 82 it’s only a matter of time before he can strike.
