Saturday ITV Outsiders: Irish raider can cause 50-1 upset in the Fillies & Mares 🐎

Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsiders and he has picked out several horses who should outrun their large odds at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday. He has had recent winners at 40-1, 20-1 and 14-1 in the last couple of months. Best of luck if you have a play and remember, always bet responsibly.

I think Rohaan is the most likely winner on his favourite track but at the prices Garrus (22-1) is worthy of an each-way selection. Trained by Charles Hills, the gelding won the Prix de Ris-Orangis at Deauville in July and there was no disgrace in finishing third to Highfield Princess in the Prix Maurice de Gheest when last seen. That form has been franked and he should be in the mix.

2.40 Ascot

For all Thunder Kiss (50-1) may well find one too good and has to step up a bit, she is far too big a price to ignore. She was behind La Petite Coco and My Astra when given third in the Pretty Polly and a reproduction of that would see her play a part in the finish. Just touched off at Leopardstown when last seen, she should be spot on for this.

4.40 Ascot

Accidental Agent was a Queen Anne winner in his prime and although those dizzy heights are no more, he has a chance in the Balmoral. He was only beaten half a length by Vafortino in the Victoria Cup here back in May and is now 1lb lower in the weights. He wouldn’t want it to get much softer but we are predicting a big run from him.
