Saturday Horse Racing Trends: 40/1 Stats Double

Trends Analysis: Saturday 18th May 2019

We’ve not had many days without LIVE ITV racing over the last few weeks and that theme continues into Saturday as their cameras head to both Newbury and Newmarket to take in seven races across the two venues.

The Group One Lockinge Stakes, from Newbury, is the weekend’s showcase race and with just shy of £200k on offer to the winner most of the ‘big-gun’ yards have entries. The Hannon team will be trying to find the winner of the Lockinge Stakes for a fifth time since 2010, while in recent years it’s not been a bad race for favourite backers, with four of the last five market leaders winning.

There are also three LIVE races from Newmarket, plus the other fixtures dotted over the afternoon and evening this Saturday are Bangor, Thirsk, Doncaster and Uttoxeter.

Don’t forget, you can get more help finding the winner for all this Saturday’s races on our Free Horse Racing Tips page.
