Ryan Moore rides at Punchestown for the first time ever on Tuesday

Ryan Moore is one of the best Flat jockeys we’ve ever seen and his name is sure to draw a crowd wherever he goes. Despite the fact that he’s rides for the Coolmore partners and therefore Aidan O’Brien usually, he’s only ridden at a handful of tracks in Ireland.

One more course is set to be added to the list on Tuesday as he heads to Punchestown for the first time ever. Moore is set to take two rides and both appear to have every chance. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

1.55 Punchestown

Mint Candy was denied by the narrowest of margins when finishing second by a nose at Gowran last time out. She had previously finished fourth on debut, where she looked very green so it was good to see a much more professional performance. A similar effort here should be more than enough although it wouldn’t be a surprise if she improves again. This daughter of Dubawi seems likely to get off the mark sooner rather than later and this could be the day.

2.25 Punchestown

Genealogy looked smart on debut at the Curragh and ran a cracker to finish second behind the yard’s first string. He had to wait for some racing room at a key stage but ran on well once the gap opened up. It’s hard to take him on off the back of that very good effort and he should be getting off the mark at the second time of asking here. Wootton Bassett is starting to take off as a sire and he could have another very smart son in the shape of this colt.
