Racing League Outsiders: Four to consider for a Lucky 15 on ITV on Thursday

The ITV Racing action returns to our screens on Thursday evening as Newcastle will stage a decent card with seven races in total to look forward to. We have challengers over from Ireland and every race is ferociously competitive. That means punting will be difficult but it can also mean that there is good value to be had. Adrian Wall has picked out four horses at good prices who might outrun their odds so let’s take a look at those horses below.

5.45 Newcastle

True Courage clearly had his issues as he missed all of 2022 but he has run well in defeat since returning to action, not beaten far into sixth off a much higher all-weather mark over track and trip when last seen. The handicapper releases 3lb and this horse must have a chance now.

6.45 Newcastle

Mobashr has sparked back into life since being fitted with the hood again, winning at Doncaster in July and has run well in defeat since. Things didn’t go to plan when last seen at Windsor but that run is easily forgiven. We expect a big run from this lad here.

7.15 Newcastle

Streak Lightning is a former course and distance winner who continues to slide down the weights, and didn’t run too bad here last time at all. Ruth Carr’s runners are in good nick and this horse has a high draw too which is where you want to be if you come home late.

7.45 Newcastle

Wind Your Neck In only went down by a length into second at Sandown on his penultimate start over 1m2f and he runs off the same mark here. This is his tapeta debut and if he takes to the surface, he could be well treated.
