Racing League ITV Outsiders: 28/1, 25/1, 20,1 and 18/1 tips at Chepstow on Thursday

The Racing League is a fun addition to the Flat calendar and it livens up the mid-week action with some competitive and valuable racing. Chepstow hosts the third round of races on Thursday and all seven will be live on ITV4. There are plenty of each-way opportunities to be had so with this in mind, we’ve selected four outsiders at big prices that may have been unfairly overlooked in the market. 5.30 Chepstow

Eagle Day (20/1, bet365) returned to winning ways at Haydock in June and followed that up with a career best effort. Scoring comfortably off off 74 at Chelmsford a month later, David Evans four-year-old appears to be improving. It’s therefore easy to forgive one below-par effort and you can put a line through his latest run. This gelding deserves another chance or two.

6.30 Chepstow

Dolly Gray (18/1, William Hill) won nicely at Sandown on her final start of last season and was subsequently put up 5lb by the handicapper. Her seasonal reappearance at Haydock was underwhelming but it was her first start for 281 days and she’s entitled to improve for it. David Loughnane’s mare should be sharper this time around and she’s been dropped 2lb since her last run.

7.30 Chepstow

Chase The Dollar (25/1, bet365) bolted up at Chester in May and was a fair third behind a progressive sort off 84 after that. Currently on a 1lb lower mark, there’s every reason to believe that David Loughnane’s six-year-old can make the frame here.

8.30 Chepstow

Greatgadian (28/1, William Hill) has been very out of form in his last couple of starts but the handicapper is beginning to respond. His two best efforts in 2024 have come over this trip and he’s very well treated off a mark of 90 when considering his best form.
