Paddy Power punter cashes out for £28k but misses out on monster £120k win 🤯

One punter managed to win a cool £28,000 from two winning bets on Saturday. This is a mammoth win for the punter who staked just £3 on a £1 each-way six-horse accumulator and a £1 seven-horse accumulator with Paddy Power. Despite this unbelievable success, the event will be tinged with sadness.

The punter cashed out both bets before the final legs ran. Quite shockingly, the final leg was well backed and justified that support to win. If holding their nerve, they could have won a life-changing £119,112. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

‘Mystic Meg would have done well to find six winners’

It seems strange that a £28,202 win could be construed in anyway as even slightly disappointing. If it was me, I couldn’t help but wonder what could have been. A Paddy Power Spokesman said: ‘Mystic Meg would have done well to find six winners let alone seven.’ Even Paddy Power had sympathy for the punter despite being taken to the cleaners by them on an amazing Saturday.

£1 each-way six-horse accumulator

Annsam (15-4) kicked off proceedings with a comfortable success at Kempton before Pic D’Orhy (5-4) scored in the next at the same track. The flurry of winners continued with Grey Dawning (7-2), West Balboa (14-1) and Iwilldoit (10-1) scoring in the three best races of the day. The punter then cashed out for £6,654 but Glimpse Of Gala‘s 2-1 win in the final leg could have made it £23,887.

£1 seven-horse accumulator

Paddy Power’s Saturday conqueror added Grade 2 novice chase winner Galia Des Liteaux (3-1) to the list of horses in the first bet into this one and the mare duly obliged. Had they not cashed out, they would have earnt £95,225 and consequently had to settle for £21,155.

What would you do?

Personally I have every sympathy for the punter and would absolutely have done the same thing. Just shy of £28,000 is a huge amount of money and not to be sniffed at.
