Monday was a good day for Rossa Ryan, as he rode a magnificent four-timer at Lingfield. He was already the track’s leading jockey this season so we put three of his best chances into a treble, which obliged at 62/1. Only Oisin Murphy has ridden more winners at Kempton this year than Ryan so we’ve combined three of his rides into a monster treble. The unraced Kindly Queen (11/2, bet365) has a smashing pedigree and she’s worth considering with that in mind. Her dam is an unraced half-sister to the four-time Group 1 winner Al Kazeem and it would be unwise to rule her out. Trainer Ralph Beckett is going well at the moment, with three winners from his last 10 runners, and that certainly bodes well for a bold showing on debut here.
Super Hit (11/2, bet365) has been in decent form recently, finishing second in three of his last four starts. This son of Too Darn Hot was last victorious off a 1lb lower mark at Thirsk in April and two of his three wins have come on the all-weather. Runner-up off this mark over course and distance last time out, a similar effort will put him bang in the mix once again.
Up The Monk (9/2, bet365) won at Southwell off this mark back in August and should be capable of winning more races. He’s due for a 1lb drop in the weights so the fact that connections aren’t waiting for his mark to fall is interesting. Further progress can’t be ruled out.
