Saturday was an excellent day for MyRacing’s followers as our 20/1 Nap duly obliged. Our resident Napster Adrian Wall simply couldn’t have the horse in question going off at such big odds and so it proved! We’ll take a look at how it unfolded below and you can also check out Monday’s Nap which is live on our site now. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Flying Finn caught the eye in Haydock’s opening race and she managed to do it comfortably in the end. Always in touch with the leaders, she saw the race out strongly to score by just shy of two lengths.
Conditions were pretty testing at Haydock, as the ground was soft, heavy in places and the track can be hard work in bad ground. Adrian Keatley’s filly was expected to improve for the return to a slower surface as she won easily on soft and heavy ground back in April.
It’s also worth noting that Flying Finn was one of two winning selections in our Lucky 15. Wimbledon Hawkeye also went in at odds of 4/1, meaning the advised £15 stake generated £116 in profit.
We have a Lucky 15 every day which can be found here. September has been a good month for our Lucky 15 as we had a big winner earlier this month which provided profit of £639.
Mon Na Slieve is lightly raced in handicap company and was far from disgraced when finishing seventh in the Palace Of Holyrood House at Royal Ascot. It was also a fair effort when fifth in a better race than this at Doncaster last time out and the handicapper has dropped him 2lb. He should be winning races in this sphere sooner rather than later.
If you back any of our selections you can watch them live on the free Racing Post app or racingpost.com. Simply log in to one of your bookmaker accounts and click ‘Watch live’ on the racecards.
