This week’s latest syndicate update comes from one of our syndicate managers David Mitchell:
Jim Daly was the toast of many drinks within the syndicate on Saturday as both Jacobs Fire and Droopys Hyde were victorious. First up was Jacobs Fire over 380m, she broke really well and had to ride a few bumps on the way but at the line she had the race under control. Herbie then stepped up to the plate and like Fire he broke well but he had a battle on his hands with T6 but he drove the bends well and as they spun for home that competitor had no answer as he stayed strong to the line. We were a little unlucky not to land the hat-trick as Droopys Nuka bounced back in tremendous fashion being touched off by a couple of lengths in second. No doubt about it our string is red hot at the minute and if Jim can keep them sweet we expect a few more wins in the coming weeks.
Meenagh Mourinho who for a long time was our star round Crayford is running flat at the moment since his return to the track. His game has predominately been about early pace but at the moment he seems to be leaving his trapping boots at home. We did say in the last update that Nuka was ready to turn a corner and she achieved that this week so it’s feasible to think that Jose is coming the boil just at the right time as his kennel companions burn up that track at Crayford. We received an update this week on our retired dog Droopys Dazzle who seems to be embracing retirement. She has a lovely forever home where it sounds like she is now the queen of as her owners run after her…if they can actual catch her. It’s extremely important for us as a syndicate that we find our stars a home after their racing career.
Jacobs Fire runs today at Crayford. She looks the one to lead them up and if she can get a run on the 5 dog she should have a sound chance.
Droopys Hyde also runs today at Crayford. This looks a competitive race but Hyde does possess a decent bit of early, if he leads he should go well.
Droopys Nuka will run again this week and as we’ve seen before when she’s on song she can knock up a few wins. Keep a close eye on her.
Meenagh Mourinho runs at Crayford like his kennel-mates today. Drawn in T5 is a huge negative with only 2 wins in 17 races from the draw. He’ll need a big effort to get involved here.
And as always, we’ll have greyhound tips every day through the week too, including any races involving our syndicate dogs.
