This week’s latest syndicate update comes from one of our syndicate managers David Mitchell:
There was concern among the syndicate that Jacobs Fire was stuck in a rut over 6 bends at Crayford. She’s been known to lead many a good field before running out of gas as they turn for home. This time however, she did see out the trip albeit setting pulses racing as she paddled home to win by the shortest of margins. This was great to see and hopefully a step in the right direction over the 6 bend trip. She’s due an upgrade into S3 and if she continues to improve she should go on a run.
Meenagh Mourinho went into his race on Thursday relatively unfancied due to his draw but he shocked owners to finish just over a length in second place. That was a huge jump forward considering what he’s produced recently and no doubt when he gets the stripes in this grade he’ll be a hard dog to beat. Keep your eyes peeled for him this week.
Droopys Hyde has a trial tomorrow night due to his weight variation last time he was scheduled to run. He’s been in excellent form recently so we’re excited to see him back at the track for owners. We’ll keep you all updated on our expectations moving forward next week.
Droopys Nuka had a torrid time of things on Saturday. We knew she wasn’t the best from T5 but even we didn’t expect her to miss the kick like she did. As many will know if you miss it at Crayford you’re in for a bumpy ride and that was the story of Nuka’s run. She came out of it unscathed and she’ll be ready to go this week.
And as always, we’ll have greyhound tips every day through the week too, including any races involving our syndicate dogs.
