🚨 Monster gamble alert: Galway runner slashed into 7-1 from 25-1 on Sunday 🚨

You can learn a lot from watching the markets. No method of finding winners is perfect but keeping an eye on the big market movers can be informative. Ireland is the home of big gambles and there’s another one underway on Sunday morning. One runner at Galway has seen its price completely capitulate throughout the morning. Having been available at 25-1 on Saturday night, the horse in question’s current best available price is a mere 7-1. There is some confidence coming from somewhere that this horse is going to put in a big effort. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

Deadheat (7-1, bet365) made a comeback here after 702 days off the track earlier this month and finished fourth. He was beaten by less than 14 lengths that day which was a fair effort after such a long time off. The possibility of the bounce factor coming in to play has to be considered. It would be fair to expect significant improvement as he should me much sharper here.

Pulled up on his penultimate start but looked progressive in his last few starts prior to that effort. Won two of those starts, including one at Punchestown by five lengths. Trying to evaluate the substance of this form would be tricky but there’s a strong possibility he can resume his progression.

His absence has caused his handicap mark to fall 7lb to 121. This mark is just 3lb higher than his last winning mark. Sean McParlan’s gelding looks well treated on this evidence and it would be no surprise to see him run a huge race.
