Monster 666-1 Irish Grand National Day mega accumulator on Easter Monday ☘️

The Irish Grand National takes place at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday and the supporting card is excellent. We’ve picked out four horses and combined them into a monster mega accumulator. The four horses in question have excellent chances and the 666-1 price looks massive. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

2.40 Fairyhouse

Blood Destiny (11-8, bet365) is a much better horse than he was able to show in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham last time out. Perhaps the occasion got to him that day as he was too keen and he was beaten too far out for it to have been a true reflection of his ability. This is a good opportunity for redemption and he’s fully expected to bounce back and show us what he’s capable of here.

3.50 Fairyhouse

Fil Dor (4-1, Paddy Power) was crying out for the step up in trip at Cheltenham last time out. Despite a disappointing effort over 2m5f that day, I’m still convinced the 2m4f trip here will suit. He managed to win a Grade 3 at Gowran two starts ago and may well be better suited to graded races than handicaps. Next year will be easier for him but he can pick this decent prize up along the way.

4.20 Fairyhouse

French Dynamite (11-4, bet365) has run some cracking races this season. Finishing second in the Paddy Power Gold Cup back in November, he then went on to finish fourth in the Grade 1 Ryanair Chase last month. This looks like a shrewd piece of placement from Mouse Morris and it could provide a good opportunity to deservedly return to the winners’ enclosure.

5.00 Fairyhouse

I Am Maximus (14-1, bet365) was seemingly purchased for this very task. JP McManus got his chequebook out after he kept on nicely to finish fourth in the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase at last month’s Cheltenham Festival. This test will suit very well on the evidence of that latest effort and he’s very much expected to be there or thereabouts.
