It has been a bitterly cold week and as a consequence we have no jump action for the majority of the week. Thankfully, we still have come all-weather racing to look forward to on Wednesday from Kempton Park and Lingfield Park. Adrian Wall picks out his trainers and jockeys to follow at the tracks using some statistics. Find our free horse racing tips on the website.
Robert Havlin is the jockey that could be worth following at Lingfield on Wednesday. He has an 18 per cent strike-rate at the track this year and he has some nice chances on paper, in particular Cruella De Vill for his boss Joh Gosden. Below are his four rides.
Kevin Philippart De Foy might still go under the radar for some but he is a top trainer in the making. He has a brilliant 29 per cent return at Lingfield this year and sends just one runner to the track on Wednesday. See below.
Even though James Doyle and William Buick both ride for Godolphin, you might be surprised to hear that The Doyler has a better record at Kempton. He has ridden 15 winners from 45 rides at the southern track in 2022 which is an incredible 33 per cent yield and he has four tasty chances there tomorrow evening. See all four horses below.
Roger Varian has a healthy 30 per cent return at Kempton this year and our tip of the day is Bonkersinabundance in the mile fillies’ maiden at 4pm. The above mentioned James Doyle takes the ride on Varian’s sole runner on the card and combined they look a lethal force.
