Jockey with a perfect record at Kempton this season rides two there on Monday

We’re still early in the autumn part of the National Hunt season in Britain and we have a very long way to go. One jockey who has been going very well lately is the very talented Ben Jones. Kempton has treated him well so far as both of his rides there so far this season were winners.

He could therefore be worth keeping an eye on when returning to take another two rides on Monday. We’ve assessed their chances of coming out on top and extending his unbeaten record. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

1.00 Kempton

Jimbo Sport finished second in two of his three starts in Irish points and got his career under rules off to the perfect start when winning a bumper at Hereford in March. Making all the running that day, he responded well to Callum Pritchard’s drive and went on to score by two lengths.

Trainer Ben Pauling is in very good form at the moment and he’s operating at a healthy strike-rate. That certainly bodes well and it’s very likely that hurdles will facilitate further improvement.

3.05 Kempton

Georgi Girl represents the Philip Hobbs & Johnson White yard and she ran a screamer to finish third in a very warm handicap at Cheltenham in April. A couple of Irish raiders got the better of her that day and the form suggests she should be very competitive here.

Yet to win in four starts over fences, she has won four times over hurdles and it’s surely just a matter of time. The yard have had a couple of nice winners this week and she can run a big race too.
