Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsiders and he has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on Saturday. Make sure you check out our free horse racing tips for the weekend, and remember, always bet responsibly.
Irish raider Railway Hurricane has some course experience and although he’s a quirky sort, the strong traveller will enjoy a big field being covered up and can mount a challenge late on. He will need some luck in running but he was second in a handicap chase here in October and was running a good race when a faller in the December Gold Cup last time. Gavin Cromwell is in form and he looks overpriced.
Bill Baxter is a classy chaser on his day, and some of his wins include landing the Topham Chase over the National fences at Aintree last season. He ran a respectable race in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury in December and although disappointing at Haydock when last seen, he’s much better than that and is running off a very workable mark.
Gidleigh Park looks a hugely exciting prospect for the Harry Fry team, but it’s not too often you see a Nicky Henderson runner at such a big price in such a race so Choccabloc is worthy of an each way. He saw off The Doyen Chief at Ludlow when last seen, who won easily next time, and that form might be a lot better than his odds would suggest. Henderson is a master at improving these types and he’s not to be dismissed.
