Irish raider alert: David Marnane’s two runners at Ffos Las form 25-1 double ⛴️

County Tipperary-based trainer David Marnane has had four previous runners at Ffos Las and one of them was a winner. This gives him a 25 per cent strike-rate at the Welsh track and he’s set to send two runners there on Tuesday. Irish jockey Luke McAteer also makes the journey over to take the rides, which could be significant. 3.40 Ffos Las

Amemri (6-1, bet365) last won at Limerick back in June over a mile. That victory came off a mark of 52 and she’s currently on a 3lb higher mark. She ran a fair race at Killarney last time out, when finishing fifth. It’s likely that this race is easier and she should be capable of running a big race off the same mark here. Marnane’s charge doesn’t always finish too strongly over a mile so the drop back to 7f could be a positive. Already a winner over this trip at Dundalk, she should have every chance.

4.50 Ffos Las

Night Moon (11-4, Paddy Power) improved significantly on his second handicap start at Killarney when last seen. Finishing fourth over 1m3f that day, he wasn’t beaten by far and it was a significant step in the right direction. If he can build on that effort there will be plenty more to come and he should win races. The return to 1m2f isn’t necessarily a negative as the trip will take some getting in soft to heavy ground at Ffos Las. This is an open race and a big run could be on the cards.
