‘Ireland’s deadliest duo returns’ – 16-1 Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore treble at Naas 🤩

Flat turf racing has returned to Ireland this weekend, with a competitive meeting at the Curragh on Saturday. It’s Naas‘ turn on Sunday however and that’s where we’ll witness the return of Ireland’s deadliest duo. Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore combine for three runners and you’d have to think they all have a smashing chance so we’ve combined them into a 16-1 treble. 3.45 Naas

Paddington (5-2, William Hill) has had just two starts so far and makes his handicap debut here. Having learnt plenty when finishing fifth at Ascot on debut, he absolutely destroyed the opposition at the Curragh next time out. He scored by five lengths that day and could hardly have been more impressive. 97 doesn’t look like a generous opening mark but if his last run is anything to go by, he should be competing in group races this season.

4.20 Naas

Martinstown (13-8, William Hill) is a thoroughly unexposed four-year-old, having had just one start so far. He won a maiden over 1m2f at Cork on his sole start and beat a subsequent winner in the process. The good ground was deemed unsuitable when due to race again at Leopardstown in June so the heavy going here may be to his liking.

4.55 Naas

Red Riding Hood (10-11, bet365) showed plenty of promise at Ascot on debut back in September. She showed plenty of signs of greenness but kept on nicely to finish second. This filly would have learnt plenty that day and she’ll be much wiser for that experience. The winter break will have done her some good as well and as she has a gorgeous pedigree, is likely to go on to bigger and better things.
