In-form William Buick’s rides create tantalising 28-1 treble at Haydock 🔥🔥

William Buick has been in fantastic form in the last fortnight. The jockeys’ championship leader has ridden 16 winners in the last two weeks at a strike-rate of 30 per cent. Buick travels up to Haydock on Thursday for five rides and we’ve combined his three best chances into a tasty 28-1 accumulator. 2.10 Haydock

Dark Mystery (5-1, bet365) got off the mark in good style at Newbury last time out. The handicapper has put him up by 4lb for that effort which could be generous. It took nine attempts to get off the mark but now that he’s a winner, further progress looks likely. Evidence suggests that trips around 1m4f are ideal as it didn’t work out over 1m6f. He could develop into a smart handicapper if continuing on an upward trajectory.

3.10 Haydock

Castle Way (4-5, bet365) put in a promising debut effort when second at Newmarket over a mile. That effort provides a strong foundation to build from and he’s likely to improve again here. It was a stablemate who beat him that day and the third and fifth have boosted the form by finishing first and second in a Goodwood maiden next time. This half-sibling of Palace Pier is bred to do the job and is likely to get it done at the second time of asking.

3.40 Haydock

Zabbie (7-4, bet365) got off the mark in a Doncaster nursery two starts ago. That was a game victory off a mark of 72 and she wasn’t beaten far when third at Newmarket last time. The handicapper has dropped her a pound for that effort which seems generous and another win could be on the cards. She’s a consistent filly with only one disappointing run to her name and should run her race.
