Havana Hurricane (9/2, bet365) has a thoroughly consistent profile and he was a very comfortable winner here on debut. The form has worked out pretty well, as the second and third have both won since. Eve Johnson Houghton’s colt won the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot and was narrowly denied in the Super Sprint recently. He needs to prove himself over the trip but his form gives him every chance.
Get Ready To Rumble (7/1, bet365) remains thoroughly unexposed and appears to be on an upward trajectory. Getting off the mark in a Brighton maiden last month, he followed that up with a smooth success over course and distance on handicap debut. It was a decent effort when third off this mark at Sandown when last seen and further progress could be on the cards.
Organ (7/1, bet365) is well and truly on a roll right now and handicaps have been the making of him. Martyn Meade’s runner was third at Newmarket on seasonal debut and has gone from strength to strength since. He completed his hat-trick when winning over course and distance by a neck last month and his profile suggests an extra 5lb might not be enough to stop him.
