Brighton hosts a competitive albeit low grade card on Monday and the track doesn’t suit every horse. It could therefore be prudent to pick horses with proven course records. We have you covered on that front and have selected three runners with multiple track wins who should have advantage. They combine to form a juicy 301/1 treble, which we’ve added to a betslip. Take a look at our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Jacquelina (9/2, bet365) hasn’t been in the best of form so far this season but there were some positive signs at Newmarket last time. Phil McEntee’s mare has fallen 11lb down the handicap as a result and a return to winning ways could be on the agenda soon. She is a two-time course and distance winner, having had just three starts here, and the six-year-old is entitled to go close.
Voix De Bocelli (9/2, bet365) loves Brighton and he rarely misses here. Henrietta Knight’s runner has two wins and two seconds to his name in just five starts at the track and he was a short head away from winning again on his penultimate start. Returning to 1m2f looks likely to suit and it would be unwise to rule out further success.
Voodoo Ray (9/1, bet365) certainly knows his way around here, with 17 course starts to his name. Winning four of those, the most recent success came in May 2024. It’s noted that the six-year-old is very well treated on that form and if putting his best foot forward, he should be in the mix here.
