It’s another day of great action on ITV and Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of outsiders on Friday at York. He has picked out three horses who should outrun their large odds on the day. Adrian is in cracking form and had provided followers with cracking 25/1 and 18/1 winners recently. Best of luck if you follow him in.
Austrian Theory (25/1) has only won once for Tim Easterly since leaving the Johnstons last summer but the son of Awtaad is certainly very well treated if he can put his best foot forward from a light weight here. He was beaten only three lengths in the John Smith’s Cup here in July from a mark of 86 and runs off 83 here and, although the trip could be a stretch, he ought to go well and looks overpriced on all known form.
Comical Point (11/1) is a smashing son of Blue Point who made a winning debut in style at Salisbury before finishing fifth in the Norfolk at Royal Ascot. He ran way too freely in the July Stakes at Newmarket since but is from a leading yard and could improve again.
Jm Jungle (14/1) has transformed from a top handicapper into what could be a potential Group 1 winner in a short space of time. On his first crack at pattern company, he won a Group 2 at Goodwood on latest and he likes it around here too. It’s an open race and he has as good a chance as any.
