The Paul Nicholls-trained No Drama This End seemingly has a huge future ahead of him and could prove hard to beat in the Grade 2 Novices’ Hurdle over 2m4f, but he has to go out and do it!

Waiting in the wings are a couple of challengers, and Olly Murphy will take his chance with The Blue Room, who has done nothing wrong in his short career to date.

The son of Order Of St George ran well in a trio of bumpers, culminating with a win on his third start at Ffos Las in April, and he looked even better on his first try over hurdles when beating a Dan Skelton-trained rival at Chepstow, with the pair pulling miles clear of the rest.

The Blue Room will need to take another step forward in this company but he may well be the value in the race.

Murphy’s only other runner of the day is Caelan who will take his chance in the closing 2m handicap hurdle. This is a competitive contest with 11 runners set to go to post, but he has solid each-way credentials.

This is a speedy type who has winning form on the Flat, and he has improved again since sent over hurdles, winning at Worcester in September and a fine runner-up over this trip at Huntingdon last month. There could be more to come.
