Trainer Kevin Frost is well known for being able to set a horse up for a winning punt so it has to be very interesting that AL BAAHY has been very well supported in the opening mile apprentice handicap at Yarmouth. This is a race of low quality and won’t take much winning, the very kind of race a trainer would target for a punt.

With only one win to his name in 28 career starts, Al Baahy comes with obvious risks attached but that sole victory came on fast ground at Wetherby over 7f last May and he has similar conditions today. He is also now 9lb lower in the weights since that victory, plus Andrea Pinna will take a further 5lb off in the saddle.

Pinna is an inexperienced rider with just two wins to his name but he won on a runner for Frost last month. Al Baahy has been running respectably in some better company than this of late and really has found a golden opportunity to get his head back in front. A few out there have put their hard earned on the horse and best of luck if you decide to follow them in. He has every chance.
