There’s a significant gamble underway at Cork on Sunday morning. One runner who was available at 14-1 on Saturday night has seen its price capitulate. The runner in question’s current best price is now just 4-1. This is a sign of significant market confidence and has propelled the horse into outright favouritism in the betting. It looks like a competitive race and it’ll certainly be a situation to keep an eye on before the race is off. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.
Joseph O’Brien’s San Salvador (4-1, bet365) is the subject of this major move. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time that a gamble involving an O’Brien horse has been pulled off. This looks like a sensible one as there are plentiful reasons to expect a big run from this gelding.
