Friday horses for courses: four runners form a very tasty Lucky 15

Adrian Wall knows how to spot a winner and has picked out four former course winners for Friday’s racing action. The four horses could return a decent sum if they all win in a Lucky 15 bet, but as ever, always bet responsibly and only bet what you can afford to lose. 1.30 Haydock

Feud won over this course and distance when stepped upped in trip in July and has been banging the door down in two runs since, most recently when third in a tough 0-85 race at Newbury over 1m4f. Beckett is in serious form which helps.

2.35 Haydock

Riversway won over course and distance in June and after two poor efforts since, she can run off just a 2lb higher mark now so she is weighted to go very close if she can recapture that form. The first time cheekpieces go on which is also interesting.

3.35 Ascot

One Step Beyond is in brilliant form this year, and he got his third win of the year in an Ascot apprentice race in July. He was unfortunate to bump into a lightly-raced young horse at Windsor last month and should be right in the mix again.

3.45 Haydock

Ugo Gregory won stylishly over this course and distance in August and ran well enough in defeat with 6lb extra on his back at Ripon subsequently. Coming back here will be a big plus and the better ground will also help.
